Credit River Slope Stabilization
The Credit River Slope Stabilization Project in Mississauga was designed to address erosion and slope failure along the riverbanks.
The project included constructing armourstone walls and vegetated boulder revetments to stabilize the banks and prevent future erosion. To maintain the river's natural flow, the inside bank was set back 6 meters from its original position, allowing for the installation of the armourstone revetment without altering the existing watercourse.
