The Oro Wetland Creation Project involved transforming a saturated farmer's field into a thriving wetland ecosystem.

 

The project included excavating and separating native topsoil, stockpiling reusable fill material, and forming multiple pools, pits and mounds to create diverse wetland habitats. Various habitat features like tree roots, brush, and stone piles were installed to support local wildlife, contributing to the ecological restoration of the area.
